At Penmack Speech Pathology for Children we provide excellent individual, clinic-based assessment and treatment for children aged 18 months to 13 years.

We work with a number of children's difficulties including:

• Late talkers

• Unintelligible speech

• Stuttering

• Central Auditory Processing Disorder

• Reading and spelling difficulties

• Down's Syndrome and other medical syndromes

• Comprehension difficulties

• Difficulty with expression

• Developmental Delay

• Tongue thrust resulting in orthodontic problems

• Cleft palate

• Hearing loss (sensori-neural and conductive)

• Other medical disorders and syndromes

 

At the time of assessment, it is possible that the therapist may suggest referral to another professional to provide opinion on your child's skills other than speech and language.

 

Therapy sessions of thirty minutes are provided on a weekly basis during school terms. If weekly sessions are not possible, fortnightly or monthly ones are available.

Cancellation Fees

At least 24 hours notice of cancellation is appreciated to avoid incurring a fee.

 

Payment Method

Payment by cash or bank transfer is appreciated on the day.

 

Penmack Speech Pathology for Children is registered with all private health funds, Medicare and the Better Start Programme. No referral is required if you are claiming from a private fund but a GP consent and referral is required to claim from the Medicare programme.
